The Vision CRC is a multidisciplinary centre with a dynamic, dedicated team of staff in a range of areas, including:

Research: Vision CRC involves a wide range of sciences, including optometry, ophthalmology, vision science, clinical science, epidemiology, microbiology, biochemistry, biostatistics, materials science, precision optical and biomedical engineering, polymer and surface chemistry, physiology, vision care delivery, public health, business, and social and behavioural sciences. Research staff undertake a range of projects and collaborations with other organisations and industry.

Education: Vision CRC provides quality education and training to postgraduate students, postdoctoral staff, and eyecare professionals through continuing and distance education in Australia and internationally. Education staff develop and deliver training programs and materials for a range of audiences.

Public health: Vision CRC and collaborators are developing effective eyecare delivery models and systems for populations in need. Public health staff research, develop and test models in Australia and overseas.
Business development: Vision CRC business staff aim to develop commercial strategies for the Centre, and to develop training and communication strategies to support the growth of the national and international eyecare sector.

IT and communications: Vision CRC has outstanding IT, communications, web and graphic design teams, who support excellent science and education involving international collaboration.

Administration: Vision CRC is supported by excellent administrative staff and systems including human resources and finance units, which support all the activities of the Centre and maintain communications with international collaborators.
